The reputation of our
preschool and
elementary programs has made Cliff Valley a top choice among Atlanta families for education. The success of our current programs coupled with the demands of our current families and the outside community has prompted us to expand through grade 8. The program expansion is in progress with the addition of sixth and seventh grades in 2011 and 2012. We will add eighth grade in the fall of 2013.
In 2011, we added two new buildings to our campus that include additional classroom and administrative space, a science lab, a new music room, and a gymnasium with a stage for performing arts.
One of Cliff Valley's strategic objectives is to widen the program to have two classes per grade level, and the recent facilities expansion provided the needed space for two classes per grade level K-8. The only question was timing, and this was contingent on the demand for programs. Based on the size and quality of the applicant pool, Cliff Valley has two kindergarten classes during the 2012-2013 school year. Program growth will be slow, deliberate, and focused on quality. Expansion will take place one grade level at a time, with two kindergarten classes in 2012-2013, two first grade classes in 2013-2014, and so on.
