The preschool years are a unique, special period of growth and development. From ages 2 to 5, children at Cliff Valley School learn through play, exploration, and discovery. Our teaching teams nurture individual initiative, build a sense of community, expand language and logical thinking, and help children gain confidence and self-esteem through their interaction with others.

In this half-day program, each classroom’s rich environment enables young children to learn and grow. Each activity at Cliff Valley School is geared toward enhancing a child’s emotional, social, cognitive, and motor development. We build the curriculum around the changing needs of the children; our teachers involve the children in the decision-making processes in the classroom.
 
Readiness in math, reading, science, language arts, and social studies develops at your child’s own pace, through a combination of individual and small-group interaction. We promote problem solving, language, and perceptual skills, and encourage creativity, curiosity, self-direction and responsibility.
