Our two-day classes for two-year-olds meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00-12:00.  Since we have found that the needs of our very youngest children can best be met in classes with very narrow age ranges, we group our twos accordingly in a very young class of eight children, a middle-aged group of ten, and an older two-year-old class of 12 children.  Regardless of size, each class has two co-teachers.  Our two-day classes visit our music cottage once each week, and spend at least 30-45 minutes on the playground each day.

Learning to trust adults other than their parents, becoming comfortable in and learning to negotiate being part of a group and continuing development of language are some of the developmental tasks of this age group.  We provide a language-rich environment where young children can explore new materials, work in the garden, interact with others, use their imaginations, listen to and tell stories, sing, dance, build and create.
